DHBC members participate in most forms of recreational and competition cycling including road racing, road circuit criterium (crit) racing, velodrome (track) racing, mountain bike racing including 24 hour and team events, cycle touring, adventure rides and even penny farthing racing.

Uniquely, DHBC also runs the very popular Saturday Slowies ride to centennial park every Saturday to allow newer riders and those who are not that comfortable on the road to gain experience and confidence with riding in a bunch and being in the Sydney traffic.
