I've entered the 110. 35-45. Past experience suggest I'll be with a mega bunch at the ~35/6/7 km/hr end of this pace til Rockley Mount where it all falls apart. Macs pass is fine. Steady. Some short steep bits on the switchbacks. Mostly quite wide enough for traffic to leave enough room to be comfortable.

An alternative could be to ascend to Robertson via Macs Pass or Jambaroo Mountain. Drop down into Kangaroo valley via Barrengarry Mountain, turn around, back to Robertson then miss vale or Albion park for a train home.

I've thought about something like this before. The bit between Kiama and Berry looks sketchy at best on a treadly. Tiny to no shoulder. And the Kiana bends just make young males want to drive fast.

Toss in Akuna Bay as well. Gives you a genuine hill and the ride along Coal and Candle creek is glorious.

I need a big ride to clear the head. I am more likely to leave earlier and do a trip to macs pass and back. (I have a lot of crap to clear out of my head!).

havent need truing yet, and I rekon I weart the wheels out (the brake track) and they will not have needed any truing.

I had 6 months trouble free use from my powertap. 1 year of hassles. Then the internals died completely. 800 bucks or do for replacement internals, which I didn't spend. I couldn't recommend a powertap. I'd be doubly cautious of buying from ovrseas because of added hassles in support. The other thin...
