At this stage, the bags will be about US$51 delivered (~$54). I am awaiting confirmation of the price based on the addition of Timmy's bag, so it might yet come down a bit further. I'd like a Monkey Light for the Sutherland CC Disco Dirt Crit and the Halloween omnium, but the price trendline is yet to intersect my 'fun-ness funds' and 'bike gear sell-off' trendlines.

Re: Some further bag luck
Thanks for the humour with the thread title there Geoff. After 8 hours or so at the hospital (why oh why wasn't I allowed to eat), the doctor found there to be no fracture evident. An ultrasound the next day revealed a small partial tear in the infraspinatus tendon and some swelling of the sub delto...

Oh that is terrible. I am sorry to hear you all had such a bad time. I had been really disappointed to miss out, as they seemed to have a really good thing going on, but I will probably steer clear of their events now as well.

Man that sucks! I was contemplating skulling electrolyte and eating big to make sure I make the cut, but thought better of it since I would most likely be foregoing my chances in the first week of double points... I reckon we'll be a sweet sprint team very soon though!

I can't really justify a new chris king integrated headset, I will probably just go a cane creek or something when I get a few more parts from CRC, thanks for the offer though Vic. Perhaps a little premature, as I only have frame, forks and cranks, but the rest of the groupset is on its way and I promised proof to another of our lucky clubmates (Orphic), in which case photos are a day later than promised ;) http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/2888/sdc10780.jpg http://img814.ima...

Hey Orphic, I hadn't really thought about where we'll stay, but I've entered the dash as well, so we were thinking of heading down earlyish on the Saturday. Have you seen an entry up for grabs yet? You are definitely welcome, we'll just fold one of the seats in the car and take F/R wheels off. Campi...

People told me to watch for a split, but I hadn't competed in a team race before and I my legs got the better of my brain... The following italian pursuit, i was reportedly allowed to close the gap and then drop back, but didn't hear a word Crafty said over the PA. Lessons learnt. (Sorry Parbs)

As offered in the 'Fling thread, my giant trance full suspension (large/20") could be made available if someone is keen in a non-competitive 4 or 6. Although it'd be good for me to be able to take some or all of my night laps on the full sus. as my back fatigues on the carbon hardtail. Not havi...

Scott 24 Hour Entries Open!
The website isn't up yet, but entries are open online now at: https://www.registernow.com.au/mtba/ERegister.aspx?E=343 This year's cap is 450 (most likely due to the affiliation with the world solo champs, for which qualifying is done and dusted), so getting in quick is a must. I'm keen on a competi...

Re: DHBC Crit in training format!!! 16/05/10 IS ON!!!!!
John (NOOG - where did that nickname come from?) has it in a nutshell. I took the slight left hander a bit sharp to duck back into the slip stream and the rear slid out pretty badly. An overcorrection, a bit of a two-wheel slide and then a couple of metres of sliding on the right side wall of a rece...

With the amount of time the ferry and ride over to Manly takes (though it's fun!), you could also: - Train it to Parra station and ride the ~3km to Lake Parramatta and do a few loops (quite short and technical, but good to mix it up). Ride a little further along windsor rd to find one of the roughes...
