Hi forum goers
I'm in need of one nights accommodation for the Saturday night of the B2b. I have the transport part of the equation sorted (joys of being carless) so am looking to find somewhere to stay - if anyone as a spare bed/couch/floor space please let me know.
Thanks
Amy.

Now that Rookwood as been cancelled this is a great alternative. bummed to miss this year!
I even had a call from James at Cycling NSW yesterday evening offering me early entry into the Ken Dinnerville.
At least someone from DHBC get the KOM - I think Andrew was outfoxed by a 70 year old last year ? Or may not have been Andrew, cant remember.

Coota is the week before for some good training if interested - 120km on the Sat and 70 on the Sunday.

Re: Fixie Park
You must be creeping up the steep/long hills like a caterpillar on those huge gears???? How are your knees afterwards?. Maybe im just soft/weak but I dont see the point in doing so other than to say you did it?

Does 65" on my 'hill ride' around Maroubra count? hahaha.
i've now muscled up to a 68".
But RNP on a fixie is just nuts.

This is one of my goals, but considering I wont be on a bike again until at least October - then away to India in November, im not liking my chances of being even remotely fit to even finish the ride and still being able to walk.
But ill go anyway - the pool is to good to miss.

Great reports guys. I finished 11th on the Saturday and 15th on the Sunday in these races last year.
(2010 i was dropped in the first 10-15km both days).
Coota is always a fanstatic weekend away, and Ill be fit for it again next year. Its a shock tho if its your first road race Congrats All.

Cycling bit looks flat (haha its the southern alps nothing is flat there) but i think running over the alps and kayaking 67km may require a bit of training Tim.

My 2 cents worth - UNless you have alot of time (or are a professional sports person) the Gym is pointless. You get better at bike riding by ridng your bike. On the bike strength beats leg weights every time. And speaking from personal experience - you have a high chance of getting injured by doing ...
