Weiyun you are right re the limited use of this for general consumption. It would take two of my bikes (one with modification to the shelf) but still leave me with bikes kicking around the kitchen and lounge room. A good solution for starters.

That was 5 years ago. More recently, I had some type of pincer puncture on the track, probably from a fitting error on my part and with 160psi to encourage it.
Forget deducting points for borrowing a tube, Ian D lent me a whole wheel - thanks Ian.

Fair enough, I guess the difference between me and Chris Hoy is about 1300w and 30kph. I saw him at Manchester World Classics a few years ago and he was a marvel to watch, they all were. If I sat that far off in a Kieran, I'd be out of the race. Especially if it was Ross Edgar in front of me. Whoops...

I wanted to be there, I had even invested in a (cheap) set of clinchers with higher pressure tyres (brace yourselves for the eye-sore). But the 10 minute ride home took me 20, I was in bed before the race started.

To cut a long story short I had some migraine issues so stopped training for a week or two, then had to stop riding to work, then stopped going to work. Now I'm doing the round of specialists...

Hey Peeps, I'm the newby riding around on a tiny black felt. I had a very painful enounter with the top tube last week so I'm not fit for training at the moment. Still I hope to be back in time for the Omnium and then onto this newfangled newbies division.
