One of Jo's female staff has an Orbea Diva and loves it. They are about 5K though! That Dama looks hot as well. I have a white and black bike - I don't really clean it that often but I don't think it's an issue. It has Ultegra and currently costs $1650 without the pedals, but it is a boys bike so ha...

We'll just be riding with the Sun Waterfall slowies bunch and turning at Sutherland so the pace won't be too hot (it's about 50k's return). Incidentally we went to Waterfall today with Matt and the level of aggro from drivers seemed to be up - we even got beeped by a bus driver on the Princess Hwy a...

Stuart - Sorry if my post came across criticising anyone in the group, it wasn't meant to. I was simply trying to highlight some of the causes of accidents that can occur within a bunch. By the sound of things, Glenn made the simple mistake of overlapping wheels. We all do it, but most of the time ...

Update 3: Glenn is out of hospital today and says he'll be back at slowies in a couple of weeks - great attitude and a top bloke. We'd like to add that he wasn't riding dangerously, no one was out of their seat, we were going about 20kph at that time (I'd estimate), Jo didn't slow or speed up, Glenn...

Just for the sake of clarity here goes (but remember every bodies version of reality is different - especially when the whole thing took about 10 seconds or so). The bus was not at fault and the driver did a great job stopping in time to avoid running over Glen. Here's a pic of the roadway where the...

Anzac Day Ride - Waterfall or M7 - any takers?
After our aborted attempt to do Waterfall last Sat Jo & I are up for an extra ride this long weekend on Anzac day Friday. Plan is to leave Mick Mazza's at 06:30 to do Waterfall, or to drive out to Liverpool for a 06:30 start to do the M7 cycleway end to end and return (85k's) starting at the M5 ...

William I understand that, especially as I am only just above slowie status myself (hence the medium pace qualifier!) - I got the joke (or I thought it was a joke) but I don't think that many people arrive at slowies on Sat prepared to go to Waterfall, or Sutherland or even Cronulla for that matter!...

Joanne & I will be doing Waterfall on this coming Sat 19/4 as we can't make it Sunday & our France / Mt Ventoux trip edges ever closer! We will be leaving Mick Mazza's at 06:15 (weather permitting) if any one else is interested - pace will be medium (we normally average about 27-28kph). Plea...
