Good Friday ride
Is anyone planning a Good Friday ride? I've been wanting to do some Eastern Suburbs roller coaster for a while, heading up to Watson's Bay on a route a bit like this one: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Centennial-Park-to-Watsons-Bay-via-Bondi-Beach-circuit With traffic bound to be low on the p...

What a ride! Dave Sullivan and I decided to extend our Kurnell ride by taking the 2.7km road up to Cape Solander last Sunday. About half way up the road the surface changes to really big chunks of aggregate that shook us up - literally. It was a very weird surface to ride on, because we were shaking...

Another alternative is just hiring a van. Various rental companies do it for $100 a day, which between 4 people is a very good deal vs. the off-peak rail fare of $25 return to Lithgow. 4 people plus bikes should fit in an 8-seater. If we pick up the van at 5:00PM on the Saturday, it's hard to see th...

Hi all,
my kids have outgrown two helmets. Do you want them?
One will suit a child up to about two years of age.
Miss 4.5 has just grown out of the other one.

How are people going to enter this race? I understand it's $65 for single entry and $180 for team entries of 3 riders ($60 each). Is it easier to just go as individuals? The saving is not massive for individual entry so it could make life easier just to enter as individuals. I am, however, keen to ...

If a new supplier is source you might well upgrade or change the design of the jersey. The design is about 2-3 years old. My opinion club jersey design should be upgraded every 2-3 years to keep the club moving forward and make the club grow. Good timing. But if we change the design, half the club ...

Yes ... I know! The prospect of buying bike accessories at ALDI does sound utterly nutty (says he, cursing the lousy quality of Kathmandu accessories). But what the heck! Maybe there's some good buying to be had there as of next Thursday. Check out the specials here: http://aldi.com.au/au/html/offer...

Grrr! My road bicycle, a Trek 1.2, was stolen today (November 18) from the bike rack on Trafalgar St Stanmore, outside Stanmore station. The proprietor of the take away food store says an "old man" approached him and said he had lost the key to the bike. He then produced a hammer and smash...
