Re: In Search Of Hills - Sunday December 14

That'd be Group A I just realised. (if you want to try to finish in the shorter time limit)
That doesn't matter Tim, it's just so they can split us up to start in different bunches.
I'll sign up for Group A also, we'll sort it out on the road and set a pace.

Re: FireFly Build: Shifting, Finish and Build

Well if you bring it home raw and decide to have it painted in Australia, you'll still be out $200/300.
Just saying.

If I didn't know it was a shop I would say that it looks like Peter Bownes's spare room.
I had a look this evening also and the resemblance is uncanny

Re: Electronic vs. Mechanical Shifting?

And Campy freehub bodies are backwards compatible which means if you upgrade your groupset to 11sp, you can still use your Campy wheels on any Campy group set plus 11sp SRAM/Shimano.

Credit where its due!
Indeed, 9/10/11 speed campy - same freehub

And of course when all your wheels are already Shimano/SRAM hubs then Campy, however lovely, is not really in the picture.
It's not that complicated to change freehub bodies, $60 part.

New Bike shop opening in Marrickville?

I've been reliably informed that there's a bike shop opening on Victoria Rd, between the locksmith on the corner with Sydenham and Double Roasters. Anyone else have any information?

I've brought home an extra size large DHBC jersey from the TTT on Saturday. It has lost the tab off the zipper.
If it's yours I can bring it along to the cafe before or after a ride, or some other arrangement can be made.
