Re: 3 Gorges Women's Ride - 2nd March

It will depend on who comes but it looks like it's leaning towards middle paced from CP, possibly a little slower between Gorges but will wait up the top of each hill so you can still go as fast as you want on the hills themselves.

Eleri, Shimano's are also not right/left specific I don't believe.

Geoff, I've always swapped them round! When the left foot is starting to get ragged, I would swap it with the right and get another few months out of them both.

It doesn't appear on their list of events on the Pub's home page:
http://www.jamberoopub.com/

And the event you linked to was created in November 2013 and only 6 people are going.

So it would appear that it is not going ahead this year, or at least not next weekend.

Re: Love Your Sister - Garvan Institute: Unicycle World Reco

For those who were discussing it on the ride this morning, it turns out Samuel Johnson is on Strava! http://app.strava.com/athletes/1702166?utm_campaign=athlete_share&utm_content=1702166&utm_medium=widget&utm_source=www.loveyoursister.org They've hit the million dollar mark and he has ri...

Re: Masters Track Cyclists 50+ Required for University Study

Hi All,

Luke Delvecchio will be at the track on Monday night, 16th December, at 630 pm to discuss his research. He is also open to any questions anyone might have on exercise and performance.

Anyone is welcome to come along (whether 50+ or otherwise).

Re: New Club Ride Commences Tuesday 10th September 2013 - Hi

Hi All, We probably need to tidy up the end of the ride given we have some riders heading in to the city and some back to Marrickville and everything gets a little confusing on Old South Head Rd. One suggestion is to stop at the cafe at the top of Bellevue Hill Rd. RBCC also stop there so it might g...

Re: New Club Ride Commences Tuesday 10th September 2013 - Hi

Here is my Strava Anna: http://www.strava.com/activities/91876979 As for the first hill, that is likely Bronte Beach though some might argue that Darley Rd is a hill, as are parts of McEvoy! Where do you think you will meet us? Probably best to ensure it is on a downhill as we rarely slow down if it...

Haha, thanks Peter. I'm sure the boys will tell you it was not 'legend' status because I was fast. It was for not crying before the last Galston Climb.

All, the weather is looking supremely dicey for the big descents tomorrow morning. Watch this space.

Hi 'blah'! Sorry, I don't know who you are. The intent is for hills to be on but with the current weather forecast it is looking unlikely. We generally don't run the ride if it is raining though I know a few 'hard-men' who ride rain, hail or shine and, in fact, were out doing eastern suburbs hills t...

Clarence St Cyclery Cup 16th Nov Special Ticketing Offer

Hi All,

Ray and Kylie, Jacqui has kindly taken your tickets for Sat night. If you can please PM me and I can pass on her details.

Anna, no tickets unfortunately. Cutoff date was last week. There will still be tickets available on the door. I think they are $15 but no advantage to DHBC.

Re: How did the Rapha DHBC team go today? Anyone heard?

I have 2 pairs and the ones I wanted to wear were in the wash that yes, could be categorised as 'sun sleeves'. So the ones I ended up wearing are the spring/autumn warmers you mention.

Trouty mentioned them so I will probably make the investment for summer.

Be gone tan lines!
