How was the new frame under race conditions?
Frame: can feel I'm driving a a bigger frame/machine, still fiddling with seat height - dropped seat height another 1cm after the race on the ride home and it seemed to give a big boost in up stroke power. It handled better than the last frame.

The Heffron track on Sat was dry with x 2 small puddles, windy slight (compared to other weeks) Sth easter. Rider numbers down a little on other days.

Yes I've tried the badana for training rides, but the amount of sweat is a lot, thus it still saturates the bandana and has no cooling effect in a long ride. Does assist with sunburn (thru a helmet), on a long ride where hair is a little sparse... But - for the Heffron races = very good idea. I will...

6.15 start

I will be around the start area at about 6am or so for a 6.15 start
The DH bunch will leave 6.30
weather - it can;t be worse than last year- bring ur rain coat :shock:

yep the ride back is a good challenge, i'm motivated to do it - just to have done it. last year it would of been a quick trip back with the southerly buster

I plan to leave early on 4 Nov 6.15am. Not sure for the ride back, I'd like to complete it, but may not have the conditioning or petrol - see how I go over the next few weeks - this after being at a conference on the Gold Coast for the last 10 days with no riding. Michael Langdon
