Apparently this is a one use item. Once deployed it needs to be replaced. I guess a normal helmet has only one true use, but I could see this going off every time you have a spill but it minor or major.

Bit of a fizzer this weekend. I ran C grade and flatted around 3 laps in. Out of interest, are you able to take a lap out with the RBCC guys for mechanicals or is that only SU Velo. I didn't have a pump, spare tube or wheel handy though but may be useful to know.

The grading is similar to the RBCC racing on Saturday, yet they dont force newcomers to race C grade. So they should let you in. I'm sure someone will recognise you though.
