That sounded promising, but rereading the rules a rider can only ride for one team only. They can be registered for more than one but only race for the one team. Any teams with 5 riders out there that has a spare???

"The Germinators" had a good solid session in the park this morning. An ambitious target of 1hr was bounced around as the time to aim for. If all the team members recover from various colds and flus they have had recently then this could be achievable.

Wanted to Borrow: press fit bottom bracket install tool
Hi all,
Does anyone own a bb press fit install tool that I can borrow?
It's one tool I don't own and can't see myself justifying the purchase of it for a one off use at this stage.
My fall back is the lbs but I prefer to DIY.
Cheers

Entered, as you were typing this I think.
Also, this is probably one of the best venues/races for spectators as you can watch 3-4 races at the same time, and if you sit in the right place you can see 95% of the course!

Hmmm. As tempting as west head is, I really need to hit RNP due to the profile of the climbs closely matching the upcoming hill climb champs. I'll have to hit up west head once my specific training is done.

2014 Nsw masters road championships
This year the race will be held Griffith. It's a long drive out there and it's going to be very hard to convince the other half to spend her long weekend at a cycling event. So, for those who know anything at all about Griffith, what is there to do during the days and nights, apart from watching the...

Re: Couriers: workplace delivery of private parcels banned
Not anywhere that I have worked!
Personally I limit the deliveries to the expensive ones (ie the ones I don't want lying on my front step). All offices I've worked at have been more than happy. I guess they want to keep the people happy!

Hi Jo,
I have a painter turning up at 8am. As much as the 7am entices, I will have to forfeit any riding tomorrow.
Hope you have fun out there!

Re: Tour of Bright 2013
Last weekend i headed down to Bright for this year's edition of the Tour of Bright. It has a new format, with the ITT on the Friday afternoon (new course, essentially 13.5kms of flatish terrain), followed by a 90km stage on the Saturday that finished with an uphill 7.5km climb of Tawonga Gap, then o...

Not sure why the didn't use the timing chips today. The masters 2 results don't have the correct numbers matching names, and masters 5 results are inconclusive!
On a positive note, Mike smashed the field up in the 5's! I am extatic with a top 20 finish.

Thanks Wallman. Just as I thought. A race for very small people! I wasn't sure if the "bigger" riders entered or stayed away from this one.
Sounds like the Tour of Bright is the equivalent of the Dinnerville entry wise (harder to gain a start than the race itself).
Cheers

Tour of Bright 2013
Hi all, Cycling Victoria have announced the dates and entry process for the Tour of Bright this year. Since the tour of Canberra is closed to all but NRS (and the course is now mostly flat), i thought i'd join the lottery and gain a spot on the start list to get my hillclimbing fix. For those of you...
