With Omnium coming up on 14th of March at 4.00pm we are going to commence exclusive juniors training at 2.30pm, and hopefully as a regular event.

Get ready for a Training Weekend to be announced to take place sometime in the next 8 weeks. Will be at Jervis Bay, going down on Friday night, staying in cabins at Bream Beach Caravan Park http://www.shoal.net.au/~breambeach/ and going for training ride through the Boderee National Park which is the Southern part of Jervis Bay and in the ACT - Jervis Bay territory. Beautiful roads, hardly any traffic, some water views of the bay and pacific ocean and the odd kangaroo. Sunday, a similar ride can be taken, but for those wanting race experience (and with a licence) we will enter in Nowra Velo Clubs road handicap race.

James F, our esteemed Road Captain will soon launch our 2009 DHBC road calendar which will focus on some favourite events - from Inverell to Grafton, to the Ken Dinnerville, to Coota, and especially the B2B which you won't need a race licence for. STAY TUNED.... drum roll for you James.

The AGM will be upon us in April, so stay tuned for more information as we firm up the date and agenda.

Riding skills and etiquette. Again, our big influx of new members provides us with opportunities to review our rides and keep the focus on skills and safety. Please see seperate announcement on some new guidelines, some of which have already been flagged on previous threads.

We are also looking at agreeing on an arrangement which may allow us to do some further bunch and paceline training away from roads, once a month - details to be firmed up - stay tuned.

Lastly, everyone should now be members, or renewed memberships - separate announcement to be made regarding this.
