DHBC AGM - 22nd April 2010
Dear Members.
Sorry for the Delay in Posting the minutes. We are very close to launching our new website and I was hoping to attach the minutes to this - however, we will have to make do with the Forum posting at this stage.
Congratulation so the new exec and a special thanks to outgoing Lindsay Munks for years of official dedication (and many more unofficial years I'm sure), as well as more recently James Mabbott and Adrian Emilsen.
There are a host of other people asked to help out on sub-committees etc, some of which are already known. We'll use the new website in the near future to list everyone with contact details.

1. Confirmation of Minutes for 2009 AGM
It was resolved that the minutes of the 2009 AGM be accepted as a true record of that meeting. (Ist: Stuart Hickson; 2nd: Michael Clement).
2. President’s Report
The President’s report was read by Geoff Martin and tabled.
Total membership was recorded at 117.
It was resolved that the Presidents Report forming part of the Annual Report be accepted.
3. Treasurer’s Report
The Treasurer’s report, compiled by Marian Lee, was read by Geoff Martin and tabled.
The opening balance of the DHBC account on April 20 2009 was $10,738.26. The closing balance on March 31 was $13,100.42.
It was resolved that the Treasurers Repot forming part of the Annual Report be accepted.

It was resolved that the club thank the outgoing committee for its efforts and congratulate the incoming committee. A gift was presented to Lindsay Munks for his ongoing commitment to DHBC.

A general Discussion was held in relation to our recruitment networks, the juniors’ programme, the new forum and web domain, and the introduction of a monthly DHBC Newsletter.
Special thanks were given to Stuart Hickson and James Cheetham for their work on the new website.
