Well, we should have some kick arse men's masters track / road TTT teams then this year and with Amy turning 30 as well, there's possible additions to teams all round.

Yes for once we might have an A and B road tt team. So start training girls as it looks like we have to win the spot on the A team unless you want the previous years team to stand? From my calculations in Masters woman that are interested in racing would be:

Camilla
Eleri
Jo
Michele Pezuti
Amy
Sky
Michele 2nd St
Alison???

Do we have any more??? We need 4 per team. Woohoo

Which Jo ? me Jo. I don't think you are quiet old enough to be an old duck (Master) like me. I guess you have a few years left before your Masters age Jo Jo. Back to the elites you go and hopefully you guys can get another medal this year.

Well, believe it or not (and you can say 'or not'), I am 32 this year so that qualifies me for Race Masters 1.

I have an Elite licence however so can race both. I'll settle for whoever is most like to get a medal...

I have just joined DHBC (again). I am 47, done my first couple of races in a long time at Eastern Creek and if anyone will have me for a team pursuit or sprint event at the Masters Track I would love to participate.

Why are there only two people on the podium, was there only two in the race?

We were combined with masters 2 for a 10km scratch. I sucked Brownie's wheel and came in 3rd and Matt rolled in in 6th or so after trying to break away with about 6 to go. We were the only Masters 1s in the race  If Timmy was there, we could have had a clean sweep of the podium!

Jo rode a perfect race to win her gold though. It was great to watch!

Thanks John, I was surprised there weren't more DHBC Male masters racing. I think it is the first year I have seen so few numbers - where were you all? The racing today was the best to watch all week, with a few upsets.

I had 3 really strong riders in my division, and the best I was hoping for was to roll in 4th or 5th and try not to get lapped.

Jayne and Kerry are very strong Enduro's and I knew they would keep attacking, so I just stuck with them, and tried to conserve energy. When Crafty yelled out about the race favourite in trouble (Julie Barnett), I thought, I could possibly get 3rd if I don't let these 2 get away from me. With all the attacks by the Enduro's, by the time the last lap came around I was fresher and had plenty left to sprint home. Lise lead out, I followed, and I was so shocked to get 2nd overall and 1st for WMAS4. After being disappointed in events I had trained for, this win was unexpected and the most fun. In that field, it is a medal I'm wrapped about.

Well done John, Matt, and Jo. All that training you've been doing is obviously paying off :)
I can't wait to ride in masters 1 next year. Who would've thought getting old would be something to look forward to?

@ Jo, you have 2 options as you could do Masters or Elites. Michele P and I are off in Italy during the June Road TT so there is spots and enough woman to make 1 masters team. Good luck ladies.
