G'day guys, I spent my afternoon today putting together the 'new system' of track pedals. Very few pro track sprinters still use the traditional track pedals but they all still use double straps. I've wanted to have a go at this for a long time and I finally thought "why not?"

Here's my creation....

The design is quite simple and widely used. Still it took me a few hours to get it together and I gave up a few times. But eventually the prototype was created and the second pedal only took five minutes to create. Not for the weight weenie as it probably doubles the weight of the pedal but for the budget it cost less than $5 (minus the $80 straps that is).

Now they just need properly tested and then I"ll decide if only one strap should be preferred & I finally I will probably purchase a higher quality pedal...
