I would like to do it, but unfortunately i'm working. :(

Thinking of doing that ride on Friday September 7th, should be able to recover in time for Grafton.

I may join the guys down to Bulli Pass.

Just to let you know, the distance for the whole loop without catching the train at Campbelltown is 260km.

I've got special permission to come.
Any suggestions re: food and water rations?

3-4 energy bars, glucose lollies, gels etc. (food supplies can differ due to personal preferences)

2 full bidons, and maybe an extra throw-away bottle in the pocket to use up first. Refilling along the way.

I assume there'll be stops at the top of macquarie pass (longer stop), and on the highway on the way back. Probably a few more breaks along the way as people require.

Just remember to bring some cash for refuelling along the way.

Think that's about all you'll need.

Sounds good. I had meant to suggest a long ride this Sunday. Thanks Eugen for organising and Lindsay for relaying this.

I'll be there. Will probably bring my Zefal "Magnum" bidons we got in Paris. They hold a litre each and should be just the shot for a long warm day like Sunday's shaping up to be.

I'd love to go but the docs got me off the bike for another 1.5 weeks to rest the lungs.

Am very jealous as that is a great ride.

Best of luck.

Does this all mean that the following rides are taking place this Sunday:

Marrickville-Maq Pass-Cmpblltwn Start 6:30am The Eugene gang
Marrickville RNP Ride Start 6:00am The RNPers
Marrickville RNP Bulli Pass Start 6:00am T-Bone and his bunch
Marrickville-Waterfall Start 6:30am The DH sprint machine

If this is the case, and as I am unfortunately unable to get clearance for the time required to complete the Maq Pass ride, i'll join at Sutherland for a Bulli pass ride. Otherwise (if there is no Bulli Pass ride) RNP it is for me.

I'm thinking i'll leave at 6.30am and do Bulli Pass, can't be bothered enough with RNP. Not sure if anyone is doing RNP.

If you're happy to have company, I'll latch on at Sutherland at around 7 for a Bulli pass ride.

I'm going to have to wuss out of Eugene's big adventure ride tomorrow. I pushed myself pretty hard today and at the end of the race I saw a return of coughing and flu symptoms. I'm keen to do a really long ride this week but will need to take it really easy until then.
