I'm planning on a nasty long ride at my parent's place at Fitzroy Falls
on Sunday 18th Sept. The course I thought of (with Simon's input) is
228kms with 4000m of climbing. Along the way there are 4 train stations
too, for those (most likely me) that blow up and want to go home. They are
at

58 kms -> Kiama
85 kms -> Albion Park
156 kms -> Bomaderry
192 kms -> Berry.

You're more than welcome to crash on the Saturday night so we can get an
early start on Sunday. There most likely won't be enough beds but it is
warm inside + there's plenty of room for blow-up mattresses etc. Would
be good training for Grafton, and good chance for those who consider
themselves good climbers to decide who's best (Im thinking a race up Mt
Barrengary to finish?) For me it will be 'get to the end without dying'.
And we can have a good barbie to finish. Will be fun.

I should do a map, but not sure of the best way to do it? If anyone
has any suggestions on how to do it please let me know. Basically we
go from Fitzroy Falls to Kiama + back via Saddleback Mt and Macquarie
Pass, then to Nowra and back via Berry. Should be miserable. Lemme
know if you're keen!
Cheers.

Count me in to the top of Macquarie Pass, then I'll turn around and come back home.

Cancel that Pat, it's been pointed out to me that the ride's starting at Fitzroy Falls rather than ending there. I might still see you on the Pass though!
