Looks like the TTT pencilled in for July 21 has been relocated from Callala Beach to Nowra Airport (Braidwood Rd). See NSWCF website for details.

Bugger. I wonder why they moved it? I was looking forward to a weekend at Callala but I guess we'll still there as it's not far to drive to the course.

Have we actually entered a team yet? Stuart is looking forward to driving the support vehicle with the flashing lights

Nope - not entered yet. I'll do it.

And no I'm not bitter about being left at home while you all traipsed around Europe, eating, drinking, having a good time and BARELY TRAINING AT ALL!

It was hell Eleri - I rode 868k's in 4 weeks - much of it up bloody steep and never ending hills! That's definitely training. (plus, the girls did extra).

You must turn 30 or more this year. To be in the 150 there's some rules around ages adding up to 150 ...

The minimum age of another rider for us to qualify for the M150 category is turning 48 ( or more ) this year.
The ages of the 3 youngest riders must add up to 150 ( or more ).

Cheers,
Mark

The final member of the old bugger TTT is Tom Hartley.

He's another one of you mad MTBers but posesses a good amount of horsepower.

WelcomeTom

The teams list is up. All of the DHBC teams except the Craig/Mark/Mike/Tom are missing, the team leaders need to contact Michael Buckingham.

I suspect that the 150+ teams are posted in seeded order, which if true ranks us 3rd fastest out of 14 teams

Well I've been doing some great carbo loading. We went to killer burger on friday night and I'll tell you that gave me enough kilojoules to ride the event at least 3 times over

We went for a spin on Saturday, out from Kangaroo Valley over to the TTT course and back. On the course there was a light head wind on the way out, which is rolling uphills and back was rolling downhills with a light tail wind. The circuit will suit riders who power over small shallow hills and are able to get the speed up in the opposite. Possible could compare with Sutherland to Waterfall return, but twice the distance.

Here's some data. Subtract 32k from each end to get the course (40k)

I was requested to Map the Ride for the TTT. I see Mike has posted some data but here's a map with elevation if you want. Seems you have to go to full screen mode to see the elevation profile, but maybe I'm missing something with the new site design.

http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/fullscreen/113831831/

weirdly, this map seems to have a different start point to the one I've got? http://www.eliteenergy.com.au/images/ma ... nships.pdf

Our team has been riding raw :D I plan on taking a more leadership role in the team, sitting back and yelling things to people, as well as getting bits and pieces from the team car (which will be parked back at the car park)

You can't get any more readier than that. You'll be good weight for the downhill run.
