MC Cyclery Maroubra (also has the Giant Store in Sydney CBD) has a very successful ride on Thursdays which a number of DHBC riders attend. It starts at 6.15am at the Robertson Gate at Centennial Park. It arrives back at Waverly at around 7.30am for coffee/breakfast or work for those who must go.

The pace is a strong C28 and above and about half the ride is hill climbing.

This is not a Club Ride. It is run and operated by MC Cyclery. The Committee are happy to let club members know as we have quite a few DHBC riders join in and we are well looked after by the MC Cyclery crew. But ultimately if you choose to ride this, you choose to do this as an individual as this is not a Club ride. Details are:

DHBC enjoys the interaction it has with a number of LBSs, and employees of the LSBs who often ride with DHBC, and are members of DHBC. We thank Nick who also stocks our jerseys at Bike Depot in Enmore, just to name another.

How difficult are the climbs? Had a look at the MC Cyclery website and there was no geographical info available.

I make it fine so it's about C28 pace. They wait at the top of the climbs. No fixie's whenever I've been but there are some people who may not have the best bunch skills.

I think I may have a morning off child wrangling duties, thought I'd hit the hills, anyone else going?

I've only done the ride once, not even sure it's still on. Though when I did it we ate here

Doh! I did the ride but didn't stop for coffee. It's a cool ride I must do it more often.
