I am planning on doing the four gorges on Sunday 9th June. About 130 km. Leave from MRC at 5:30. Return around 11:30. Cruisey middies pace. If you want to smash yourself - do it on the hills - not in between.

I know there are a bunch of the RNP regulars who have not done this ride. You should. Its lovely.

Let me know if you are coming. Obligatory DHBC ride start list:

1. Andrew M

Will it really take 6 hrs?

How cruisey will it be, or is there a 12 course buffet breakfast and scenic ferry ride planned along the way?

There is a scenic ferry ride. I often have a can of coke at a servo -luxury.

5.5 to 6 hrs is how long it takes me solo. Decent bunch will be a bit quicker.

Come along John and beat me up the hills.

Have a great ride,

Oh gawd 5:30 am... Very keen to come, but given the start time, we have to put it as maybe (2 of us).
So i won't add our name to the list atm.

Probably more a question of can you keep going. Bring food/bannanas/gels.

Plenty of bail out options Jonathon. But you and the BMC will enjoy it. It's a beautiful ride...

Spotted - I passed the DHBC bunch in Lindfield while driving to West Head.
Gave a little toot on the horn.
