“Free folk don't follow names, or little cloth animals sewn on a tunic," the King-Beyond-the-Wall had told him. "They won't dance for coins, they don't care how you style yourself or what that chain of office means or who your grandsire was. They follow strength. They follow the man.” ― George R.R. Martin

My journey to the lonely peaks of Mt Bowen will be the following day. I'm afraid this time I must leave "the Man" and his followers to forge the trail without me.

I watch it for the naked hot chicks.

For those who read the books for the interesting anti-heros, I highly recommend Joe Abercrombie and the first law trilogy. Glokta the crippled torturer is very bit as good a character as the imp.

Only $11.78 on Amazon...

If we're not careful this will turn into a book club.

Pretty good, everyone looks happy in the picture because it's before the wall.
Thanks Andrew, Anthony, Eleri, Phil & Robert for a great ride.

And I made it to the PO to pick up my Wiggle orders

Except I got there at 11:01 and the sign said "CLOSED".

Which was annoying as I had quickly got changed into none cycling clothes and then had to RUN up the hill and down the other side. Not nice when a) you haven't been running since December and b) you just cycled a long way to ride up a very steep hill.

So I stalked the last person inside the PO and begged the dude to let me pick up my parcels when he let her out. Which he very kindly did.

Thanks chaps for the ride! and thanks Anthony for the tow back to the bunch when I got dropped temporarily.

Surely the words 'enjoy' and the 'Wall' cannot be used in the same sentence :!:

It was a great ride on Sat though, thanks again.

Cheers
