So.......... Thinking of riding return to Wollongong on Sunday morning.

Leaving the cafe at 6 (possibly with the RNP group), hoping to get to Wollongong by 930 or so to see the end of a triathlon. Our very own Ben Thomson is competing as well as some of my other squad members.

And then riding home!

I imagine I will be down in Wollongong for an hour or so to grab something to eat etc. before riding home.

If you don't want to ride home, there is always the option of a train. And I may even partake of that on the way home if I've had enough.

Most likely going to go through Waterfall to Sublime rather than into RNP and then diving down Bulli Pass.

If no takers I will ride with the RNP group and then just meander to Wollongong alone.

Hi Jo,
I am happy to join you, 2 proviso's
my bike is in the hospital and has been all week, broke on last Sunday's ride
tomorrow's job to try and get it going, custom built bike with an unusual set of headstem bearings
I am also not a strong hill climber, so if you don't mind waiting at top of significant hills
I would stop at Austimeer and have coffee with my daughter and await your return for the journey home
Robert

Hey Jo. Maybe maybe for me. I was half planning to do the ride down this Sunday (one way) to visit mum for her birthday and buy a car. Just gotta figure out if it is logistically possible. I'll get back to ya.

I did this last Saturday in at Audley too. It took 3hr 30m without really stopping (to avoid freezing to death).

Hi Robert,

I am also not a strong hill climber so it might well be that you are waiting for me!

Adam, would be great to have you along. When we did the Gong ride a few years ago (in at Waterfall) it took 3 hours 15 mins.

The logistics are killing me. I can't get away with this without leaving my wife and mother in law to catch the train down. And turning up to my mum's birthday lunch smelling like a cyclist. I have only ridden my bike once in the last two weeks but this is just too much collateral damage.

Hope you guys get great whether.

Hi jo, I'll do part the way with you. I'll turn around at the 75km mark or thereabouts. Although I might take the seacliff bridge route. Decide as the mood takes me. See you at 6.

Jo I'm pretty sure I saw you zip past the Cafe we were eating at in Bulli Point at about 11am. Was that you?

Heading back north, Adam? Yup, that would likely have been me. On my way to pick up Robert in Austinmeer.

Great morning/day out. Thanks to James, Phillip, Paul et. al. for the tow to Loftus and to Robert for the other 100km's we rode together.
