I'll talk to Trouty about this as it's her b'day time then. It's also very close to the B2B in April and and is quite a long way at 170k's. But Orange is lovely and there's some excellent restaurants. We'll see.

If we get a team of 11 together you only pay for 10, also if you enter before December 18 early bird entry you get the jersey for free. Good deal

I will give them a call tomorrow to see what we need to do. Also only 2000 entries available so we will need to get in quick I reckon.

I spoke with BN today they will send me a spreadsheet so that we can enter as a team.
If you are keen let me know so we can get it in quickly so that we can take advantage of the early bird entry and free jersey.

OK team,
The deal is if we have 11 riders we can enter for the price of 10, that's $15 off. If we enter before the 18th of December (next Friday is the cutoff) we get a jersey included in the entry.
So if 11 of you are willing to transfer money to my bank account then I'll put through the entry.
I'll have to get details from you as well - date of birth, address, emergency contact no., jersey size and some other stuff.
If we can get this together - fantastic! Otherwise we just forget about it and enter individually.
Have a great ride,
Peter

Thanks Tarryn,
I would like if the money could be transferred soon as I'll be able to pay the entry fee before Friday. But we have to get everyone on board for it to work - i can cover if people are a bit late but not too late. If I can get more response from others on the list that would be good.
I'll private message everyone on the list in the next day or so to push for a commitment, give my bank details and also outline the personal information you need to provide for registration. I'll also contact the event organisers and let them know we're proceeding with this.

I was planning on heading up on the Saturday morning and back Sunday evening. Happy to share a place to split costs.

Re: bicycle network orange challenge

Neil, planning on only spending Saturday evening in Orange, heading home after the ride. Happy to be included in any accommodation plans.
Also, I was contacted by the organizers, they want to know if we're interested in having a marquee/shelter at the start/finish (which is a velodrome in Orange). Seems like we could all use it before and after - faster riders waiting for the rest to finish would have a place to be, friends and family could use it during the day.
Is this of interest to people?
I'll be getting back in touch with the organizers in the next fortnight to discuss this further.
Peter

Right, I've got packages for - Phil Daniel, Ben Ford, Anthony Kenway, Christian Lees, Tarryn Myburgh, Andrew Szwec & Damien Walker. You are welcome to pick them up from my place any evening after 7. If you are definitely coming on a club ride on a morning I can bring it to the post office at the start. I will be at the bike show at Tempe Velodrome on Saturday morning. I plan to be in Orange for the ride briefing at 5pm Saturday and I'll be at the start early. If you want to use the rider valet service you'll need to get your parcel on Saturday or before. BTW my jersey fits - maybe could've even gone a size smaller. If anyone doesn't know where their parcel is let me know or any other problem and I'll send an email of to the organisation.
Have a great ride,
Peter
