Wouldn't it be great to have a new crit track beside the Velodrome? As well as a place to race, it would also provide a place to teach road skills to juniors, new adults and possibly even schools. There are grants of up to $1M available from the NSW department of Justice Liquor and Gaming for sporting infrastructure.
Below is a quick sketch I made of how a small crit track (similar in length to the one at Dunc) might fit between the touch football fields and Wooli Creek.
Would the club be interested in pursuing this option?

I would be more than happy to donate my time to provide an engineering design of the crit track (I am a road engineer by trade).

I can also assist with the application. I probably can't do this myself so I'd need a hand. Happy to project manage the application &/or be the reviewer of said application.

Unless there are other suitably qualified people in the club of course!
