Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club

Weather permitting Trouty & I are going to do a drive-ride West Head and Akuna Bay on Easter Fri 14th.

When: Ready to ride in Narrabeen at 7:30am it's a 70k loop with a ride time of about 3:30, including stops.

Where: 18 Ocean St Narrabeen, near the Driftwood Cafe (just off Pittwater Rd south end of Ocean St). Free on-street parking. https://goo.gl/maps/hdSpjT3mSTp

Ride will go out Pittwater Rd- McCarrs Ck Rd, Right to West Head and then back via Akuna Bay and up the hill and back down via McCarrs Ck Rd and hence to the cars for breakfast. C28's pace.

Bring two bidons, food & 2 x tubes + levers & a pump. Coffee stop at the end in Narrabeen.

Some people might also like to ride out and back (125k's or so). In previous editions they've left at around 6:00am.

I well remember that day too. Won't be there this year though as the beach calls. Enjoy!

I remember that ride from 4 years ago well also, it was my first adventure ride with the club! Good times
A few of us are planning to do Mosman Alps to start then head to North Head, then Powderworks, Church Point, West Head and Akuna.
We may well see you on the road at some point.
