Hi Miguel and Camilla!

You were asking for the power bar recipe. Here it is:
Firstly though, I used processed bran instead of all bran, and I didn't put the chocolate chips in. I cut them fairly small, about 2cm x 4cm at a guess. The granola used in the recipe is hard to get at suburban health food shops although James C assures me you can buy it from a health food shop in King Street Newtown on the left hand side of King Street if you're facing North toward the city from Newtown station.

Power energy bars

High in carbohydrates for longer bike trips.

1 cup of raisins
1 cup of honey
½ cup brown sugar
pinch of salt
½ cup natural chunky peanut butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 cup non-fat powdered milk
1 cup granola cereal
1 cup of All Bran
150 grams of chocolate (optional)

Line a 30cm x 22cm tin with waxed paper. Bring the syrup, sugar and salt to the boil in a saucepan or microwave. Stir in all other ingredients, except the chocolate. Allow it to cool a little, then press the mixture into the lined tin. If desired, pour over melted chocolate. Chill in the fridge for 30 mins, then cut into squares.

The website I got it from, via James C, is:

There are heaps of other recipes for cyclists!

Happy baking!
