I've purchased a new roof rack, one with square bars and now I need a bike rack. What are my options and which ones should I consider or avoid.

I noticed this cheapie on T7, but it looks flimsy to me http://www.torpedo7.com.au/products/T7CAON9BB

At the end of the day I want to know that its going to last the distance, better to have the right one that have one that cra** out or looses a bike.

We use Thule but you need special racks for them. Rola make one for square bars - about $200

What are square bars? Are you still needing the bike rack Mike? I may have one for you.

That's not correct. Thule also sells square bars and I understand most (if not all) their bike racks support the square bar standard. I run Thule square bar and accessories for cross compatibility reasons.

I just acquired a bike rack but I can't reach the roof of my car to use them. I paid my colleague $100 for them. So, if you want it, you can have it for $100. It locks the frame and wheels in place so you don't have to remove the wheels. Might you be interested?

Hi Mike. Sorry bout that. I'll take a photo tonight. I'm fairly sure it's for square roof racks.

Hi Mike,

Here's a link for the bike rack I have. Sorry for the delay.

http://www.thule.com/en/AU/Products/Bik ... 91018.aspx

It is for both aero and square roof racks according to the specs.

Cheers,
Nada
