Yeah, I think that's it for the SMH Online and I. I've put up with the ads, the auto-play video, the increasingly shrill, trite reportage and the pre-school standard sub-editing, but really, this is just garbage. If it's meant seriously, it's stupid and offensive. If it's meant ironically, it's stupid and offensive. It offers nothing - no insight, no wit, nothing.

The new bike paths in the CBD have brought home that the best way to increase the number of commuters is simply to provide separated bike paths. There has been a massive increase in the number of bike commuters.

All this talk about type of bike, ride position, clothing, helmets is a load of rot. Boils down to whether the riders feel safe or not

This video is clearly taking the piis. It shows the opposite of everything they say. E.g. it say's you're going to have to wear lycra, and then shows guys riding in jeans. If you didn't work it out, the obvious clue was the Alan Jones reference, as he starts swearing at SMH journalists.

It's clearly pro cycling, pro change, and pro not taking stuff too seriously. Not bad if you ask me.
