Bicycle parking at Ashfield 'Carnival of Cultures', 18 March

The annual Ashfield 'Carnival of Cultures' is on this Sunday from 11am at Ashfield Park (along Parramatta Rd).
'Secure' bicycle parking is provided on site. All fairground rides and pony rides are free for kids.

Musica Linda is playing at 2:25 if the rain holds off! Exellent to know I can ride there.

I thought she look familiar but wasnt sure. Linda wore these huge 70s style sunnies and it was hard to tell, but I did take a second look because she did look familiar. She was the lead singer in a Latin American music band, very, very impressive. DHBC has such diverse talent. Congrats Linda :)

Spotted John (jonboy) with his 2 kids at the pony rides. There was valet bicycle parking available. Lots of fun for kids and the kid in all adults. Loved the pre-medieval sword fighting.

I was there for a little while around lunch, didn't spot any DHBC people but I did had a chat to some of the AshBUG people I ride with from time to time who were manning the valet bicycle parking. Was a pretty good local carnival IMO, don't think I'd been there since I was a kid.

I tried to get a pony ride, but they told me to 'get on your bike'....
