Ooh, very tempted. Let me see if I've got approval from the boss.

the other option is to do one of Andrew M's Grande Tours, saves the bother of check points and all that palaver. Andrew are you out there?
Or we could do the gorges at a cracking pace, make up for the lack of distance with speed (I'll definitely regret that idea).

4 Gorges plus a side trip down the Hawkesbury a la Rapha Gentlemen's?
4 Gorges plus Mt White return?
4 Gorges plus Akuna/West Head?

I'm hoping to plan an adventure ride in Jan incorporating the Rapha route... Probably a little slower than we did it!

I am out here. Another whole day leave pass in December might be problematic. That's not to say I won't try,)

Anyone want to do Newnes (starlight) canyon on the 15th December? No swimming (so no wetsuits). You would however need to be a competent abseiler. (This is my existing whole day leave pass). I know, it doesn't involve bicycles. It's fun but.

That's very tempting although I haven't abseiled nor rock climbed in 30 years and my walking boots were tossed not long after that ( a lot of years on the couch)

Ok. I'm officially out as I have a lunch appointment. Will most likely do something shorter like RNP via Wall or similar on Sunday. Free Saturday for some north side action.

It does look good

About time I did an audax (the fitz doesn't really count does it?)

I will try for leave pass tonight

If I go - I will probably ride up  :?:

~45 min to drive (doubt i'd be allowed the car in any case)
~1:30 to ride - so leave 4:30
I would need to leave home at the same time to catch the train and arrive before 6

If its ACE training - I should also practice getting up at very stupid o'clock right? After all - I'll be starting that at 4  :!:

No, wait till Gary emails you with his address. Or contact him if you like. He needs to have your actual card which gets sent to Paris to get stamped them it gets sent back to you.

How'd you shape up today?
