Fasties Accident 20th April

Most of you would have heard by now that there was an accident in the Fasties bunch on the way home from Waterfall yesterday.

3 riders were involved, Christian, Ben and Gabriel. Ben escaped with minor cuts and bruises. Gabriel suffered a broken wrist and will require surgery. Christian has 2 broken ribs and a broken collarbone.

Christian is still in hospital as there is a risk of lung infection. He is hoping to be released tomorrow or Wed.

Thanks so much to Alex, John, Jayde and Dougie who helped out with bikes and transport. Also thanks to Michael Clement for his visit to Christian today. Apologies if I have missed anyone else who helped out.

And thanks to everyone for their texts, emails and FB messages. Despite his grumpy demeanor Christian is very grateful.

Will keep you updated on when he gets home.
