There is conflicting information regarding carrying your CO2 inflator cartridges on board aircraft. I have just received an approval document to allow this. It is valid for a year and appears to be fully transferrable. If you need a copy email or text me and I will forward the .pdf file to you.

Hi Douglas,
An approval document has been issued and attached for your travel. This approval is valid until 31 December 2015 and should be kept for future trips on the Qantas Group, including Jetstar.

NOTE: Approvals no longer require a name.

Please ensure you keep this in a safe place and carry it with you whenever you travel. When checking in please declare to the customer service agent that you are carrying CO2 cartridges and show them a copy of your approval letter.

Thank you for your enquiry and I hope you have a great and safe trip.

Kind regards,

Michele Taylor
