Some of you may have seen The Veloroos social media campaign on Facebook, Instagram etc. They are the first Australian All Female Team to take on the Race Across America, a 4828km time trial from one side of the US to the other to raise money for the Amy Gillett Foundation and the Tour de Cure. Our own Ben Thomson is going to be support crew. The 4 girls, Julie-Ann Hazlett, Nicole Stanners, Sarah Matthews and Natasha Horne are well known in Sydney cycling circles and ride with various bunches such as Cheeky Monkey.

As part of their fundraising they are hosting a night with Jensie. That's right! Jens Voigt is in town as The Veloroos are hosting an exclusive evening with him, hosted by Mike Tomalaris.

The details are as follows:
Date: 22nd April
Time: 6pm
Place: The Campari Bar, Level 10, Tower B, 207 Pacific Hwy, St. Leonards.
Price: $200 (price includes cocktails, canapes, photos, auction, raffle etc.)

To book, please email The Veloroos (info@theveloroos.com) with your name and contact details then transfer $200 per person to The Veloroos Account. Remember to put your name clearly on the bank transfer.

Only a couple more days to get your tickets!

The women's team are still looking for a sponsor and are still hot on the fundraising trail. The men's team have plenty of sponsorship (including 3 car companies) so if people can spread the word!
