So where is this on at then? Is this in the Canterbury velodrome or the tempe "track" ? and what's the address of either of those? I might come along to watch.

It is located here. I'll be there - should be good to do a few individual events on a clear track.

Canterbury Velodrome and Tempe Track are the same place. The confusion comes from that it is the Velodrome for Canterbury Council but is located at Tempe. Official name is Canterbury Velodrome.

Tim's provided a map, but you might recall seeing it if you have ridden down cooks river as it's on the other side of cooks river to tempe train station.

Now it's all clear! So where are the Saturday arvo' Road Races held then?

Heffron Park, which is just past East Lakes shopping centre.

I'm planning to race, so will be riding over at a real slow pace. Could pick you and Joanne up if you want to ride over for a sticky.

There are rumours around that I may be turning up to race at Heffron tomorrow.

We're off up the central coast for dinner with friends on Sat 'arvo so will have to pass this week but would be interested in future weeks. We'll be missing Waterfall as a result this weekend, much to Jo's disgust! (but will be at slowies).

I'm thinking E - the same as Michael and Bill. I think they are faster, fitter and more experienced at racing then I am, so I will probably be dropped.

Are there any rules I need to know / read about before racing at Heffron?

Don't knock Michael or Bill off.

Jokes aside, there's the lap out for mechanicals. If you get a flat, then try to make it back to the start/finish and borrow a wheel, you can rejoin the next lap.
