I'll look at putting in the next clothing order once I get the numbers, this will be mainly for pre-order items. Add your name to the list if you want something. I'll finalise the order once we have 10 of one type of item. Prices to be confirmed shortly.

What about a batch of slim/race fit jerseys for the particularly svelte amongst us? You could fit 2 of me inside my current jersey, although it is a Nalini.

I see no problem in getting some race fit jerseys, but we won't keep stock, so if you want one you'll need to order it. If there is enough interest then I should be able to get some sizing samples.

Yes it will be, I know you don't like the knicks Stuart, knicks are one of those things where they fit people differently, I personally find them quite comfortable.

Yep, no worries, but for me it's not just the knicks, the jerseys really don't look that flash IMO. But I'm not doing the purchasing.

I wouldn't mind trying on a race fit jersey

With the skin suits, is there any sizing difference between Nalini and Champion?

There are women's knicks. The men's one will have longer legs and I believe the chamois is different. I'm not sure about the sizing difference between the Nalini and CS skin suits. I'm pretty sure all the ordered SS from the last order have been picked up, I can see what I can do about samples if that helps.

Get your orders in soon, as we seem to have run out of large jerseys so I'll be putting an order in just after the new year, I figured there is no point in doing it right now.

Unfortunately we don't have any skin suits in stock, generally if you wear small jerseys and knicks then you can get into a small SS.

Poppy, you don't need to order jerseys unless you are after a size we don't have. Best way to do it is to come down to the velodrome on a Monday or Wednesday night between 6.30 and 8.30pm, the start of the night is better.

I'm pretty sure I've already answered that one

Cycling clothing doesn't work in conventional women's clothing sizes, you get a choice of XS, S, M etc.

Poppy - you will probably be an XS if you want a tighter fitting jersey, or a S for a slightly more relaxed fit. I have both sizes and they both fit me fine. The back pockets on the XS are a bit smaller, if you are just touring or something go for the Small.

The clothing is in and down at the track. Come down and see me this week Monday and Wednesday nights from 6.30. Closer to 6.30 is preferable. I'll be away for the first two weeks of March so I'll arrange for someone else to look after the clothing.

Phillp,Christian has been on a boat in WA for the past 2.5 weeks for work and only just got back last week before racing a 24hr mtb on the weekend. No amount of messages can change that.

If you let me know the type of jersey you need, ie nalini or champion systems and also the size, i can probably organise to drop one off to you one night of the week/weekend.

As Alex mentioned, I've been away. We will have a box down at the cafe soon so you can pick up clothing there, how soon depends on a few things. Now, you'll all have to realise that its unlikely we will restock it on a daily or even weekly basis so there is a chance the size you want may not be there when this box does materialise.

On a not just clothing note, no one in the club gets paid, we all offer our time up for free so making demands doesn't work. All of $10 from your membership actually makes it to the club.

Christian and Alex, I am sorry if I've made an arse of myself. I certainly didn't mean to hassle. I am happy to wait till the box is organised or am also happy to pick the kit up from somewhere if that is easier. 6.30 is just a bad time as I'm feeding, bathing and getting to bed the little one then.

As a peace offering, I am a photographer and shoot still life clothing and accessories most of the time. If when the new web site is up and running you think it would be useful to have photographs of the kit. I'd be happy to do that for you at the standard club rate, i.e. for free.

In the mean time I'm after,
0ne jersey, I think I'm a med, my other jerseys are large but I've lost weight since then. Perhaps I should try one on?
Two pairs of socks,
Also a wind vest Med or Large, again perhaps I should try it on.
Which does all sound like it might me easier to wait till you have the box set up.

Cheers,
Philip

Congratus on your win! Which I sort of saw on Strava last night. Can I encourage you to write up a race /ride report in the road section? Ideally with a picture, even if you are in shabby attire. :) And if you are going to win, we'll definitely have to make sure you get a jersey. And indeed that I get around to picking up my skinsuit.

Thanks Eleri, though I'm afraid I am big noting my self. Technically it wasn't a race, but you know how it is, if there is someone to overtake then it's a 'race'. I'll try to write something up. No pictures though, my family support team were still fast asleep when I left and were then still eating devonshire tea when I crossed the line.

I'm so new to this I don't even know what a skin suit is.
