Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club

After a number of years with Champion Systems, DHBC are changing club kit supplier to Cuore (the same supplier as the NRS team) and at the same time we’ve taken the opportunity to update the jersey design. The fundamentals remain the same so that our CNSW registered club kit doesn’t need to change and members can still race in older versions of the jersey. Uniquely, it will also continue to be sponsor logo free.

The new jersey is a modern fabric, comes in women’s and men’s specific cuts and standard sizes and will be available from Velofix in late July or August. The club will do a mass order of standard jerseys in a range of sizes, along with bibs (knicks), wind vests (Gilets) and skin suits for the trackies. Jerseys will be the “Bronze Sport Jersey” and come with a full length zipper, the reflective package and zippered (keys) pocket. Bibs will be the Silver level with MS2 chamois. Price for the standard jersey is expected to be the same as for the current jersey.

Special Offer: For the first order, Cuore are offering club members the chance to attend their shop at three specified times to try on kit to ensure you get the correct size. All jerseys will come with full length zipper, the reflective package and will be based on the “Bronze Sport Jersey”.

You may also choose to add longer sleeves, body length, leg length, or a zippered key pocket or phone pocket for an extra charge per item (TBA - Cuore are setting up a web portal to customise orders). Why try before the kit comes in? Well, you can customise it (sleeve, body and leg length) +/- 2cm and 4cm. Trying it on will help you decide if custom is for you.

I tried it, and it didn't hurt a bit! For reference, I took the +4 option for both the jersey and bibs.

Jerseys at Velofix will be standard sized sleeves and body length.

By the way, I don't think they will be doing leg warmers. Both Paul Mayson and I asked and the response was not likely.

Drew said it was possible to do custom orders of the DHBC branded gold suit. I'm going to have to see how much money I have left after getting a jersey, bibs and a gilet. I suspect the answer will be "sod all", but a man can dream!

Is the Gilete the Silver with splash protection?

Good question, just trying to get an answer for the jerseys, etc. Skinsuits are being rushed through (see other thread).

Yes saw that I did order a silver jersey when I went in will that come through on a different order anyway I will try to catch up ttomorrow with you

Yes, jersey orders are a separate batch to the skinsuits. We are waiting for a proof to be turned around by Cuore for sign off, before they start cranking out the jerseys. Based on previous deliveries, I'd guess this means they are still 5-6 weeks away.

Any update on the order or is it too soon?

Order has been placed. Some last minute fine tuning about to take place. I'd expect 8-9 weeks. Skinsuits are immanent.

If you got a fit at Cuore and decided you wanted anything other than the standard bronze sport club jersey type e.g. a silver level jersey please PM me.
FYI these are the club standards.

Jersey: Bronze Sport with full length zip, reflective package & key pocket
Bibs: Silver with Gold pad
Gilete: Silver splash Guard

Hello all: August 14th update:

The club kit order has been finalised and is expected before the end of Sep. It includes nearly 250 individual items. Also includes all the kit that was pre-ordered via a fitting at Cuore back in May/June.

The kit will be available for purchase at Velofix in Rozelle. Payment methods TBA but we envisage CC and EFTPOS being available.

Note that the first skinsuit order has already been delivered and distributed. I hope Noel doesn't mind, here he is modelling the skinsuit at RAW.

Will the bibs be available at velofix or just the jerseys? I have a set of the silver bibs already and they are the most comfortable I own!

Let's just say what I saw was in the same room as three DHBC club members

theirs been a leak of information here i feel, a royal commission may be needed to sort this out
