A friend of mine is selling a bike that she has hardly used and has been stored inside her house for the last 12 months. I doubt that it has done more than 200km (less than 3 waterfall rides). It's in perfect condition and has a one off special release paint job. Anyway - she has decided riding is not for her so if you are interested in some or ALL of the items below, I am sure she could work out a deal. Please pm me if you are interested and I will put you in contact with her and give you any
other info you need.

Nope - Ex Boyfriend who was a cyclist bought it for her as a Birthday present thinking she would learn to like it and got all her family to put in with him. A very expensive present not really based on what "She" wanted but I am sure the intentions were good.

Jo, can you find another friend, with same story but a bit smaller? That would be handy for me.

For $6000, she could have bought her a 0.5-0.75 carot basic quality Tiffany rock. I'd bet the result would have been different, and wouldn't be sold come a break-up. Stupid guy!

There are worse things in life than having some one buy you a $6000 bike you don't like. I wish some one would do that for me, I am sure I could resell and find some thing else to spend the money on.

Cash would have preserved the value better. ;)

Here are some photo's, of dubious quality but you get the idea. Oh, and yes I know they are reversed (taken with a laptop webcam)- it's not that this is a super special bike with the drive train on the left!

What happens if she sells the bike and then hooks up with another cyclist?

That's a really nice bike. I was interested as I rode one when I was in Canberra a few weeks ago and I really liked the feel of it. Accelerates very well and climbs beautifully. The colour isn't really for me though, and while it's not ALL about looks some portion of it is at least.

Someone is going to get a bargain if they buy that bike and all the bits! I wish I knew a girl looking for a nice road bike that I could recommend gets it.

yEAH I AGREE....The colour isn't for me either (I don't really like light blue). Colour is just one of those things that isn't imperative to the operation but it HAS to be liked if not LOVED by the owner given we look at the bike so much. It is a good buy though

***sold***

I picked this bike up on the weekend. Wasn't really in the market for a roadie but the poor thing sounded neglected so had to have a look.It is very girly looking and when you add the white helmet and white shoes it looks a bit like this :P

Image

I will take it for a spin when i get the results from the wind tunnel testing and my team of mechanics makes precise adjustments*

*or after a lap of Wilson st will decide to put the seat up
