My friend just sent me a link to this bike shop in Berlin... has anyone here had the privilege of visiting? It looks amazing:

I keep wanting to enjoy how awesome it is that we can basically walk around inside a shop on the other side of the world from a couch in Australia, but I'm too busy ogling bikes.

Their website has some cool stuff too.

That is very, very cool.

I can imagine in the future you'd be able to just 'virtually' walk through, click on something you like and buy it. You can probably do that now somewhere...

I give Google a year to make this happen. It shouldn't take much to tie Google Shopping into their "Street view". By the way, anyone for a virtual tour of Berry?

I can see a time in the not too distant future where one would be able to directly click on an item while browsing in a platform similar to google maps, and a full listing of photos for that item, price, size, ordering options etc comes up. That would be nice.
Doesnt beat the romance of travelling but is damnside cheaper. Heaven for agrophobes. :)
