Hi. I have a Speedwell serial numbers on seat post A42659.
The only info i can find on speedwell serial numbers is off a British site. It state the first number is the month. 2nd & 3rd are the year and the last two is the bike produced for that month.
If thats the case my bike was the 59th bike made in April of 1926..
Is this correct... i dont see where to post photos. First time on forum. Sorry newbie.
Any help appreciated

Hi. You should go to the 'Retro' thread on the Bicycle Australia Network (BNA) forum.
I believe there is an explanation of how to date the frame. If not someone will assist you.
