Thats right, weve done the omnium, struggled to keep up with the likes of Simon Llewellyn, Huw Morgan and the feild of induros such as Christian and matt. And its time to see the true sprinters in their come alive, in a race that could be an actual fast race for as little as 250 metres or less!

It seems that if you want to ride in a match sprint or kieran, you need to be either an A grader, or ready to sign up for the state titles where there are riders that go close to the 70 kmph mark in their sprints. So in an answer to the cries of riders such as me, Chris (Toff), and more from me, it is time that we broght the elite sport of match sprinting (and possibly the kieran) to Tempe veledrome!

Stay tuned for more details.

Yes... this sounds fantastic. Perhaps we could kick it off on Boxing Day.

I've been thinking about it. It would be a sprint omnium with a sprint championship in it. Including the sprint, keirin, team sprint & maybe a kilo?

I was also going to ask if anyone was interested in new years day?

I'm with Toff on this one NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :(

Boxing day was a push, but as I am starting out and keen - I thought sure - BUT NEW YEARS DAY - You have to be kidding right? Do you ever NOT think about riding Simon?

No???

I"ve realised in previous years that a lot of cyclist don't actually go out on news years eve & if you don't get totally hammered you'll be right by the afternoon for some racing no probs... Great way to remove a hangover...

Another battle of the hangovers.

Matched sprint, is that where you use 2 riders?

I'm expecting to be working on New Years Day at the moment. Who's idea was it to have a shopping centre let alone a bottleshop open. Though it's probably not too big an issue, as i'm sure i would be beaten in a sprint.

I might be able to make it, but really, not really a sprinter. But I'll still give it a go.
