This Sunday is the Marrickville Festival & the council has set up a bicycle workshop/information area. We've been offered 2 spots to promote our club & to talk about our part of the cycling word, that is bicycle fitness & racing.
So we'll get two 15 minute time slots where we'll address the workshop, give out flyers & be part of the activities.
I thought we could have a rider on rollers displaying our great roller training while somebody else talks about the club.
Geoff Martin has volunteered for the speaker.
We need a roller rider & other riders in club gear with their bikes to show off.
Times are this Sunday 27/9/09
12:00 to 12:15pm
1:30 to 1:45pm
The location is close to Silver Street.
It'll also give us a chance to do some networking with the local bike groups like MASSBUG & the Marrickville Council.

We’ll make a flyer with this schedule on it to hand out on the day – that way people will know when to arrive for a particular item of interest. But there’s room for some flexibility on the day too.

Im happy to volunteer to be one of the roller riders, and to bring a bike or 2 down to show off. I can bring the black stealth track bike with the zipp race wheels or the new black stealth road bike with token race wheels.
