You know they all ring a bell but I can't put a name too them.
1. Goldie locks ???? could be Georges hair? or Tim's beard?
2. Big red could be the old hand-me down bike at the track; Or me or James F?
3.The Siberian is also a bike? either an old road bike or novelty bike from the siberia area?? or with those connotations..

1. My beautiful steed for the Penny Farthing Championships..although Georges hair is funny.
2. Is "Big Red" the artist formerly known as the little white bike or a new addition to the Penny stable that we dont know about?
3. The 54" Penny with 4mm spokes- not good for the obstacle race.
I have always thought that the pennys have such great names that we should write a book about them...not sure how the beautifully smooth twin 54 inch Chezchs fit in to the plot though...have to work on that.

I knew you guys had it in you...
First right with Goldie Locks was Grant, it is indeed his favourite 53" penny. Also the bike Ron used to do his century in 2004.
James hit the nail on the head with Big Red. I'm the only person not ever to have ridden it because I can't my feet touch the pedals.
& James gets it again for the Siberian. It is an original penny that at present is langushing in Alan's back yard.

Q6: Who is the youngest current DHBC member to have ridden on Camperdown velodrome?
The Czech's are 56inch (think there's a smaller one as well, not that i bother with the small bikes), and from what i remember, the story is that they were brought over for the championships one year and the owners didn't want to have to lug them back, so Al got them for a good price.not sure how the beautifully smooth twin 54 inch Chezchs fit in to the plot though...have to work on that.
I forgot about that gold coloured penny.

Sorry didnt read the question properly...id say LindC would take that title if im not mistaken.
Firstly thankyou Grant for giving me a new way of spelling my name. I did ride regularly at Camperdown but I was in my late 30's then. However I would say it would be George Papas & Mark Shying that would take the prize.
George had a bit of a go on the track as he says. Mark however was a serious junior trackie under Alan's tutaledge and won some titles and as he proudly reminded me a couple of days ago was runner-up in a roller racing event as a junior.
BTW the other one I'd be looking at for this at is Brad Cox...
Also if you wanted to take it back the the previous DHBC track before Camperdown, which would be Henson Park and then you would be looking at Mick Mazza perhaps as he rode as a junior there.

Brownie is the youngest at Tempe to have ridden at Camperdown, though he isn't a member of DHBC, he does ride the pennies with us?
