Why are you drooling Toff, its an 11 speed and a Taiwanese carbon frame. They are painted in Italy.

Yes, good point Christian.

Truth is that I assumed it was one of the Magnesium Dogmas, which is on my list of bikes I will eventually acquire (along with a curly Hetchins, an Eddy Merckx funny bike, and a whole lot of others...)

Second, it's not just 11-speed. It's Super Record, which is so expensive that most pro teams don't bother to use it.

Incidentally, I bet no-one else knows that Super Record is nothing new. Lots of people know that Super Record was first used in the 70s, and it's now back, but the truth is that it actually never went away. Campagnolo continued to use the term on its factory lightened parts. I have a 1993 C-Record catalogue showing C-Record hubs with an aluminium "light alloy" freehub body. The item is described in that catalogue a a "Super Record" hub. I also have one hidden away somewhere at home, along with a couple of Super Record aluminium 8-speed cassettes to use with it. Those cassettes cost a fortune, and a steel chain tears through them like tissue paper.

Neither of you knew that Super Reecord was around all through the 80s and 90s.

I also didn't know some of the things that Prince Charles' batman does for him in the mornings, but I still want my prize Toff.

And one for Weiyun too, while you're at it. Or else I'll launch a class action, and then you'll be sorry. You'll have to sell all your Super Reecord to pay for your gambling addiction.

I agree with Toff that it's a hot looking bike (looks just like my FP3 really :)) but for mine it's a little too stiff, too small and way too expensive ...
