Hi all, I don't know if you've ever gone into the Wolli Creek bushlands, but they're very nice ... and also the closest bushland to the city and one of the last remnants of native Sydney vegetation within the urban area.
It's also a decent place for a gentle tootle on a MTB, and of course the bushlands end just near Canterbury Velodrome.
There's a chance some of it will be bulldozed for the new M5 East (see http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-07-21/r ... on/4145278) , so the Wolli Creek Preservation Society is throwing a "hug a tree" event on Sunday to highlight the area's qualities.
