Paris-Roubaix live on SBS
Ok folks, the race is upon us so lets whip this post up... I know this race is harder to precict that a lottery but, let's hear some predictions anyways.
My favourite classics rider having retired (Peter Van Petegem), and Stuarty O'Grady being not as fit as i would have hoped, I say Leif Hoste for the win. (ok, its very long odds but I am dying to see Lotto on top again).
What do you say?

Supposedly it'll be a cold and wet race with max temp hovering around 12 deg C predicted.

Appears to finish at 2.10am so it shouldn't be a problem going to work the next day and beside you will gun it on the commute due to the Adrenaline rush.

I think Fabian Cancellara will be very hard to beat this year. The guy is just a machine. Boonen is always big favourite and I would love to see Ballan get up. But I guess there's guys like Flecha who has been knocking on the door for some time now and Devolder is probably one to watch also.
We're planning a get together to watch it on Sunday night. THere's 3 of us so far, me, James F & Adrian with the likely destination Jame's house if anybody is interested?

Yesterday on Radio National there was a 5 minute piece about Paris-Roubaix which was quite good. Here's the link -

I'll just have to check it's fine with my parents in the morning and let you know, but i expect it'll be fine.
Not sure what we'll need, probably snacks. I've got plenty of beer and i can get some non-alcoholic stuff.
Anyway, check back here tomorrow arvo.
