Should be a good race this year, lots of big names and plenty of climbing. Will it be a returning Basso to win the race, or will the Astana boys to spoil the party, then there's the numerous other Italians, but also in the mix is Michael Rogers!!

The usual velogames fantasy giro is running again, so if you're interested in a bit of fun, get your team in http://www.velogames.com/index.php

Hi James

Will you be setting up a mini league as in past years?

I am going for Leipheimer to be the bride this time and not the Astana bridesmaid.

I'll setup a mini-league, though probably not until sunday night. I'll let you know.

I agree about Leipheimer, he'll be Astana's team leader, as i don't think Armstrong is ready after breaking his collar bone.

Good to see Danilo Di Luca win a stage whilst wearing the Maglia Rosa. Actually, he rode like I haven't seen anyone ride the TDF in probably a decade or two. Great riding. Reminds me of Fignon, or Hinault.
