Who should be the first person to set the Tempe half hour record?

Alberto Contador; Forget the heights of the Pyrenees in France, the real racing is at Tempe. Though in order for him to win he will probably need someone to drop their chain.

Chris Hoy; He will definitely be good for 3 stella laps and lets face it if we are going to find a man that will set a competitive time for 250 Tim this could be it.

Eddie Merkx; When it comes to hour records his was defined to be one of the true-est before modern technology took over. The canabal, why not get the greatest of all time.

Tony Abbot; he may not have any political policies but he has ridden an iron man and does most of his campaigning in either budgy smugglers or lycra, so why not have a poly?

Paul Craft & Phil Liggit: Why not have the voice of cycling race the voice of Raw? Plus not many have actually seen him racing at Tempe.

Well as the speculation grows to who will be the first to ride this glamorous event, I though we should have a poll.
