Hi I finally got all my parts for a new road bike. Problem now is where do i start? Is there any good website, reads or videos on how to build up a bike from scratch with instructions on where to start and what to do? Also what essential tools will i need?

Or Youtube and Google are your friends.

And Sheldon Brown too: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/

I'd get someone to do the headset and bottom bracket if I were you (though there are some fairly easy things you could do yourself, if you're handy, such as cutting the fork (but be dam careful if it is carbon!)).

Getting a tool kit on sale from somewhere like T7 can help. A friend bought one just for a specific tool out of it so I profited out of this by scoring a free kit (minus one tool).

See thread I started re tools > http://dhbc.org.au/forum/viewtopic.php? ... w=previous

I got a workstand too and that make life so much easier. Although it makes you rather addicted to maintaining your bikes... Which can't be a bad thing ;)

I have a headset press if you (or anyone else in future) needs to use it.
