Hi,
i did the try the track day and had a great time.
Now how do i get to do more?
i see there are training nights on Monday and Wednesday, but how to join in to those? Do you just turn up?
Also, do not have a track bike, so have just been looking about to see what is possible and out there. Want to spend as little as possible. Saw this today http://r.ebay.com/ZenIDY .. I am 6'2" and normall ride a 56-57 road frame so would this be a good thing to start on?
or is there a better way to start sortign out a bike?
sorry for all the questions.
cool bananas

how to get into track riding
to get started that's not a bad bike or price.
and yep, if you feel confident after the try the track session you are more than welcome to come down monday and wednesday. just say hi to Alex or anyone who looks senior at the track and we will be able to look after you. it may take a few weeks. but once you get into it, it's awesome.
BTW good timing start training now and you will be all set for when RAW starts

The track is open from 6.30, so best to come down at 6.30.I'm going to come down to the track tonight to try it out (2nd time on any velodrome). Anything specific to bring other than pedals? And what is the best time to get there to ensure enough time to setup bike?
Cheers,
Noel
Is the wednesday track session open for the inexperienced ones? I'm keen to continue doing track cycling..but have only tried riding track bike once (during saturday session which has not been going on for few weeks now) and has never tried going around the ramp..
Thanks
